General Meetings

The majority of our Guild Meetings include a scheduled presentation by a professional quilter.

The presentations range from lectures with slides and / or quilts to wearable art fashion shows to quilt-related storytelling and theatre.  Most speakers are from California, including people from our guild, but we also book people from other states and countries.

Whenever possible, we also contract with our Speakers to offer a workshop at the Saturday Sewcial following the Guild Meeting.  A few times a year, our meeting features an event that does not include a Speaker.  These event are arranged to offer our Guild members a chance to socialize or actively participate in some way. 

Our present schedule is listed below.  As discussed under Membership, most of our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month, but the December meetings, and sometimes the November meetings, are on the second Tuesday to accommodate holiday travel and so are marked with an asterisk.

Location of the Guild Meetings

General Guild meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.  The exception is December, which is on the second Tuesday from 7:30 PM.
